Welcome to the Southern Kentucky Regional Science Fair an affiliate of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. We are pleased that you have taken time out of your busy to present a project at this year’s fair. We hope you enjoy your experience and Good Luck!
Categorical Awards for elementary, middle, and senior high projects include First, Second and Third Places plus Honorable Mention. In addition to categorical awards, overall winners will be selected..
Schedule for Fair is as follows:
7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Elementary Project set up. Students should allow enough time for approval by the Safety Committee.
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Elementary Project judging. Students should be at their projects for judges to interview.
11:00 a.m. Elementary student judging complete.
7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. Middle and Senior High Project set up. Students should allow
enough time for approval by the Safety Committee.
9:00a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Middle and Senior High Projects judged. Students should be at their
projects for judges to interview—students may have to stay slightly longer.
10:00 a.m. Sponsor’s Meeting--Room TBA
12:30 p.m. Middle and Senior High judging complete—may be slightly longer.
12:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Lunch—on your own.
12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Public Viewing. Students do not need to be at their projects.
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tear down Displays
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Mandatory Senior High Overall winners meeting—overall senior high winner and sponsor must attend!!
